Amazing authentic flavor, value is incredible and with the platter that we get we always leave feeling full. The Arroz Chaufa was a pleasant surprise but let's sit for a moment and talk about that green sauce.
What the hell is in this sauce? I once had a dream where I was a rotisserie chicken and dived into a vat of green sauce Duck McScrooge style and as I was drowning in a lava-like manner, I shot my hand up as Arnold did at the end of Terminator and gave a resounding thumbs up.
I make an effort to come here every time I visit Rah-Rah-Raleigh. -

Very similar to the Alpaca Peruvian chicken chain. I love any Peruvian chicken place so far none have disappointed me and this place is no exception. Ordered the whole chicken for 18 bucks which comes with 2 large sides. Also ordered a regular size side of fries.
As with other Peruvian rotisserie chicken places their skin is roasted with a blend of magnificent spices to give the perfect savory flavor and heat. Absolutely delicious! The accompanying green and yellow sauces you can get just make the chicken that much better.
For the sides I ordered the chicken soup and house salad with cilantro dressing. Chicken soup was pretty flavorful with good helping of veggies inside. Salad was pretty much salad but the cilantro dressing gave it a nice sweet and sour tang. The French fries were were heavenly - these were not your normal McDonald's French fries. They had some good width to them and the potatoes had a hint of sweetness to them.
Came here at 11am on a Friday and there was already a good amount of people. By noon, the place was slammin' with an incredibly long queue of people on lunch break.
Overall, a great place to get your Peruvian rotisserie chicken fix - you will not be disappointed! -

Let's get one thing clear: I eat here for the sauces. Just like I eat hibachi chicken for the white sauce, I eat Mami Nora's for the yellow and green sauces.
While I've eaten here since this place opened, I'm not going to use this location anymore because their sauces (yellow and green) have gotten crazy watered down to the point they are no longer enjoyable. They don't stick to your chicken or fries when dipped anymore (literally watery).
Additionally, if you order in and want to box your remainders (I order half chicken, eat half now half later) you have to pay $1.08 per small to go sauces (of which I'd need three so +$3.24). Again not an issue at other locations.
As a condiment junkie this really ruins it for me and comes across as pretty petty.
Now I've been disappointed twice today: once by this restaurant, and now by myself, for reaching the point in my life where I'm writing a negative yelp review about sauces. -

The chicken was tender & delicious (after I sent it back to be fully cooked--the center was bright red.) The Yucca fries were good but they lacked something--being kind of similar to sweet potatoes, I didn't know if they needed sugar or salt.
Prices are pretty high for the amount of food you get and the restaurant, itself, was grungy with several flies & greasy floors. The bathroom wasn't much better--dirty floors & sink-lots of dirty toilet paper on the floor.
Maybe the new location they're opening will be cleaner....and they'll have a higher grade for their sanitation inspection. -

My third Peruvian chicken in the Raleigh area and this one was just as good as the others. A quarter chicken with white meat, served with cole slaw and a salad, it was moist and juicy and very delicious. I like that they have pump dispensers for the yellow and green sauces. The yellow is fantastic and the green is super hot.
Nice, clear restaurant. Lots of space for dining in here.
Good stuff from Mami's!
